The scent is dark and bitter, with woody, aromatic, and slightly leathery nuances that immediately create atmosphere. Nothing feels sweet, pleasing, or decorative. Instead, a quiet, powerful presence unfolds, giving the room character.

Darkwood feels archaic and refined at the same time, raw yet clearly composed. It recalls charred wood, dry bark, dark matter, and the warmth of a slowly smoldering fire. It creates a mood that is simultaneously grounded, mysterious, and elegant.

The hand-forged black iron gives Darkwood a strong, sculptural presence. Together with the dark scent, the candle feels like a small work of art and goes far beyond what one associates with a classic scented candle.

Usage

  • To ensure even burning, keep the wick short.
  • When lighting for the first time, it is recommended to let the top wax layer melt completely.
  • The distinctive metal vessel can be reused after burning.

Ingredients

Material: black iron, plant-based white wax

We carefully process and pack your order at our warehouse in Reutlingen. Orders are usually processed within 48 hours. Once your order has been handed over to the shipping carrier, you will receive a shipping confirmation with tracking information. After handover to DHL, delivery within Germany usually takes 1–3 business days.

Shipping costs €4.95; orders over €60 ship free within Germany.

We ship international orders with DHL International or Deutsche Post Warenpost International Premium, depending on the destination country and parcel size. Available shipping methods and costs are shown at checkout. Delivery times depend on the destination country, the selected shipping method, and customs processing.

Returns: You can return unopened, unused, and undamaged products within 14 days of delivery. For returns within Germany, we can provide a return label for €5.95 upon request. Returns from abroad must be arranged and paid for by the customer.

We carefully pack your order at our warehouse in Reutlingen. Our shipping boxes and greeting cards are made from recycled paper. We use packing peanuts made from cornstarch instead of Styrofoam as filler. Our paper-based packing tape can also be disposed of with waste paper.
