AKT London stands for modern, high-quality, and aesthetically pleasing body care. Known for its high-performance aluminum-free Deodorant Balms, the brand has since expanded its range into a versatile body care line. AKT was founded by Ed Currie and Andy Coxon, two former West End performers who were looking for a deodorant that worked even under intense strain while remaining gentle on the skin. This personal need led to a skincare formula that effectively neutralizes odors and leaves skin feeling comfortable. The “Born to Perform” approach continues to define the brand today – performance meets natural ingredients and mindful body care.
Alongside its well-known deodorant, AKT London offers a versatile body care collection: The Body Wash Concentrate gently cleanses with a fine lather and is especially long-lasting, while the Body Conditioning Balm pampers the skin, leaving it nourished and soft. A special feature is the aluminum tubes with aluminum closures that AKT uses for its Deodorant Balms and selected other skincare products. They do away with the usual plastic caps.
In developing its products, AKT focuses on vegan formulas, carefully selected ingredients, and thoughtfully designed packaging. The fragrances range from fresh and invigorating to warm and soothing, and are more reminiscent of fine perfumes than classic body care.
