THE CANOPY
La Canopée was founded by Cécile and Juliette Munoz. Cécile is a chemist specializing in green chemistry and an expert in natural cosmetics. Cécile is the soul of La Canopée: inspired by her passion for nature and plants, she developed the formulas for the products. Juliette is responsible for communications and design, which perfectly reflect her French roots and her love of nature.
Both founders are from Grasse, where they launched La Canopée in 2017. Grasse is the capital of perfume, making it a truly inspiring city with a palpable passion for high-quality raw materials and beautiful products. This passion is also evident in Cécile and Juliette. They began developing effective French cosmetics made with 100% naturally derived ingredients and accessible to everyone. At the same time, true to their roots, the exquisite La Canopée products smell and feel wonderfully and unmistakably “French.”
Each product is an invitation to travel. Nature is so rich and full of variety that it is a joy to explore. “Nature is a story to be shared” – this idea shapes the brand. The formulas are 100% naturally derived, vegan and COSMOS-certified. They are developed and made in their own atelier in Grasse. The selection of facial cleansers, masks and skincare is especially lovely: from the gentle Universal Moisturizer to the Milky Sunscreen Fluid SPF 50+.
