The Woven Brass Small Tea Strainer is handcrafted in India from solid brass. Its fine woven structure gives it a high-quality, artisan character and makes it a beautiful alternative to classic stainless-steel tea strainers.

Note: The strainers will gradually change color slightly over time. To keep them clean, rinse with water after each use and dry.

Due to its shallow depth, the small version is especially suitable for a single serving of tea or for herbs and flowers that do not need to steep for long. If you brew larger quantities of tea or want to give the herbs more room, we recommend the Woven Brass Large Tea Strainer.

Use & Care

  • Place loose-leaf tea or herbs in the strainer.
  • Set it on the rim of a cup or use it to strain tea from a teapot.
  • Pour over with hot water and allow to steep according to the type of tea.
  • After use, rinse with clean water and dry thoroughly.
  • Do not leave submerged in water for extended periods.
  • If needed, clean only with a soft cloth or sponge.

100% solid brass with food-safe protective coating

    We carefully process and pack your order at our warehouse in Reutlingen. Orders are usually processed within 48 hours. Once your order has been handed over to the shipping carrier, you will receive a shipping confirmation with tracking information. After handover to DHL, delivery within Germany usually takes 1–3 business days.

    Shipping costs €4.95; orders over €60 ship free within Germany.

    We ship international orders with DHL International or Deutsche Post Warenpost International Premium, depending on the destination country and parcel size. Available shipping methods and costs are shown at checkout. Delivery times depend on the destination country, the selected shipping method, and customs processing.

    Returns: You can return unopened, unused, and undamaged products within 14 days of delivery. For returns within Germany, we can provide a return label for €5.95 upon request. Returns from abroad must be arranged and paid for by the customer.

    We carefully pack your order at our warehouse in Reutlingen. Our shipping boxes and greeting cards are made from recycled paper. We use packing peanuts made from cornstarch instead of Styrofoam as filler. Our paper-based packing tape can also be disposed of with waste paper.
